TAXI (Delhi) – In Delhi, there are many taxis available for people to hire. Most of these taxis (that are usually black with a yellow top) are provided on hire by DTC, tourism ministry of the center and some private companies. These taxis can be hired for travelling to nearby places as well as to longer distances. To find a taxi, passengers must first fine street stands designated for taxis. In addition, one can call up a taxi service. The starting fare is Rs. 25 (first km.) and Rs. 14 per km. thereafter (Rs. 15 per km. for AC taxis).
